Sebastiaan van der Lans is co-founder and owner of web agency Van Ons. Starting out in 2006, Van Ons has grown into a leading tech agency in Amsterdam with a team of 25 experts who are focused on building WordPress sites, shops and applications for big names such as IKEA, Intratuin (The Netherlands’ largest retail gardening store) and Koffietijd (a Dutch TV show), among others. Sebastiaan’s own focus has recently shifted to WordProof, a service that uses the power of blockchain technology to protect your content on WordPress in a user-friendly manner. Maria spearheads the business development program at Fetch.AI. Her goal is to build strategic alliances and collaboration with industry as well as academia and to manage strategic program delivery. She is an active member of the Blockchain for Europe association, where she proactively contributes to the regulatory debate by supporting European decision makers in their goal to make blockchain technology a success. The association collaborates with national, regional and global players – both at policy as well as industry level.
Her professional interests include: supply chain, smart cities, mobility - autonomous/electric vehicles, energy, P2P/M2M trading, circular economy and DeFI (decentralized finance). You can find more information here.
Jelle Pol started his career at the aPaaS platform Mendix, which was recently acquired by Siemens. After experiencing what it is like to work for a scale up, he went on to play a key role in the Technical Innovation department at Shell, where he founded the blockchain team. During his time in the blockchain team the first three blockchain projects were started and Shell joined the EWF and Ethereum Enterprise Alliance. He finished his career at Shell in Renewable Energies, before venturing out to start his own ventures in the blockchain space. Jochem is a tech entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in managing teams and large projects. He has been very active in the smart city context, with a special focus on mobility.
