Melalie is a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace for electric vehicles. The mission of Melalie is to electrify all of Asia's mobility movements on land. On the Melalie platform, people can rent electric vehicles from each other without the need for intermediaries.

The Melalie platform is complete, tested, live and already lists over 400 local vendors. The application can be downloaded in the Appstore (iOS) and the Google Playstore (Android). People can also use the website to make bookings. Vendors also have their own dashboard where they can easily manage their business.

Pollution caused by traffic is a serious challenge in the world. The situation in Bali is no different. This is why we developed Melalie. We want to speed up the electrification of mobility in Indonesia. Next to our local vendors that offer electric motorbikes to tourists, Melalie also has its own fleet of electric motorbikes.
Our Own Baby
Melalie is our in-house venture. Our team developed Melalie, from a conceptual idea to functional technology and a running business.

The Tech
The back-end of the platform has been developed using Ruby (on rails). For the consumer facing applications we used React Native. Within the Melalie platform there are many features that allow the marketplace to operate smoothly. From management dashboards for vendors, an auction system, administration dashboards, etc.
