Melalie is a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace for electric vehicles. The mission of Melalie is to electrify all of Asia's mobility movements on land. On the Melalie platform, people can rent electric vehicles from each other without the need for intermediaries. This is our in-house venture. Our team conceptualized, developed, and brought Melalie to life - from an idea to functional technology and a successful business.

Melalie is a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace for electric vehicles. The mission of Melalie is to electrify all of Asia's mobility movements on land. On the Melalie platform, people can rent electric vehicles from each other without the need for intermediaries. This is our in-house venture. The application is live and has already enlisted over 400 local vendors. People can download the app on the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android), or use the website to make bookings. Vendors have their own dashboard to easily manage their business.

The Tech

The back-end of the platform was developed using Ruby on Rails, while React Native was used for the consumer-facing applications. The Melalie platform offers many features that ensure smooth marketplace operations, including management dashboards for vendors, an auction system, and administration dashboards, etc.
