Looking back at 2021, what a year!

Looking back at 2021, what a year!

This year has gone by so fast and yet so many things have happened. In this newsletter, we look back at what we have accomplished. And, of course, we will share some of our plans for 2022 as well.

For all of us, the year was characterized by Covid-19 related concerns and disruptions. New lockdowns and restrictions resulted in challenges for us personally and professionally and as well as for our clients. However, we’re pleased to say that as a team we managed to hold a steady course. Looking back, we can only say it has been a very successful year for Itsavirus.

It’s been an exciting year of new releases, new clients, and new features designed to help people all over the world. We continued to build out our company as well. However, this does not mean that we can sit back and relax. Growth is a challenging process and it needs to be handled with care.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • First of all, it has been a great year in terms of growing our team. We doubled the size of our team to over 50 people. But we do not only grow in size, we also grow as a family and become even more close.
  • In terms of product development, we can look back at a strong year. We managed to release applications, for the ICT group, The New Fork, Melalie, Vybe, and many more.
  • With Melalie we managed a successful tokensale and raised 2.2 MLN USD within an hour.
  • We tripled our company in terms of revenue.
  • We further invested in blockchain-related knowledge and onboarded related clients such as Insured Finance and Cash Tech.
  • We had a great company trip, we went to Nusa Lembongan with our entire team!

With the end of the year insight, we have our plans for 2022 ready. Our focus will be continuous improvement throughout the entire company:

  • We aim to continue to become better on a professional level. We will do so by enabling our team to take more time for courses and other educational activities.
  • We are proud of the family feeling that we have when we enter our office. In 2022 we aim to continue to grow as a team by doing a lot of great activities together. From a company trip to a lot of dinners together.
  • Growing a company is great. However, size does not always matter. We plan to continue to grow our team, but not as fast as this year. In 2022 we prefer stability and simplicity.

We hope you will continue to be part of our community. For 2022, I hope the impact of the Covid-19 situation will be reduced as it would be great to actually see each other again! Stay strong and healthy. Have a great 2022!

Kind regards.

The Itsavirus team
